ENGLISH  |  JAPANESE

Project Background:

The Nissan Cube is a 5-door, mini MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) built on a B-platform and currently sold in Japan only; the vehicle is front-wheel drive (CVT and 4WD are optional) and comes with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. The Cube is integral to Nissan’s future small car strategy for the North American market, and its small size and lightweight body provide excellent fuel economy.

Since October 2007, Nissan has been working with students at Brooks Institute (Santa Barbara, CA) and Pratt Institute (New York, NY) on the Cube-ism: Automobile Meets Art project to showcase the Nissan Cube in the U.S. market
